Approved refunds are processed back to the original source mode within 5 to 7 working days.
1. Policy Overview & Scope
This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs financial transactions, escrow fund deposits, job posting fees, and refund requests made through WensWork (operated under WensWork / WensWork Express).
Our primary goal is to ensure absolute transparency, consumer fairness, and financial protection for both Employers and Freelancers across India.
2. Escrow Payment Refund Triggers
When an Employer funds a milestone project, the money is securely locked in our Escrow System. Refunds are eligible under the following specific conditions:
3. Job Posting & Premium Subscription Cancellations
- Free Job Postings: Standard job posts currently feature ₹0 fees and carry no payment obligation.
- Featured Promotions / Subscriptions: Optional featured job promotion fees are non-refundable once the promotion goes live and begins receiving candidate applications, except in cases of verified platform outages.

All approved refunds are initiated through our payment gateway (Razorpay, Paytm, Cashfree, Stripe) back to the exact source payment method used during checkout:
5. How to Raise a Refund Request
To request a refund, follow these simple steps:
- Go to your Employer / Jobseeker Dashboard and locate the specific project or transaction.
- Click Request Cancellation / Dispute and provide a brief explanation.
- Alternatively, send an email to wensworkexpress@gmail.com with your Payment Reference ID, registered email, and reason for refund.
- Our support team will review the request within 24 to 48 hours and notify you of the approval status.
6. Disputes & Chargeback Protocol
We strongly encourage users to contact our resolution team before filing a chargeback with their bank. Unverified chargebacks on legitimate completed projects will result in temporary profile restriction pending inquiry.
